Arthur U13 Girls claim ORSA Championship!
Arthur's U13 girls travelled to Norwich this past weekend to compete in the Ontario Rural Softball Association (ORSA) Championship tournament.  Ten teams attended the tournament, featuring the best rural softball associations in the province for this age group.

Arthur's first action was on Saturday morning, when they defeated the Douro Dukes 13-0.  Later in the day, the Twisters downed the Ingersoll Ironbirds by a 5-1 margin.

Full of confidence heading into Sunday morning, Arthur faced off against the Embro Highlanders, the only other team that remained undefeated at this point of the tournament.  The Twisters proved to be too much for the Highlanders to handle, prevailing 11-3.

Ingersoll defeated Embro in the semis, to set up a rematch against Arthur.  Ultimately the Twisters emerged with a 10-3 win to clinch the ORSA title, concluding the weekend with a perfect record!  Arthur's coaches were extremely pleased by the effort the girls put forth, and hope to be able to keep this talented group of young ladies together to represent the Twisters in the coming years.
