U7 co-ed softball is for players born in 2019 and 2020. This is the youngest age group that will travel to play away games. This team will compete in the Intercounty Softball Association.
Typically we travel to neighbouring communities including (but not limited to) Alma, Drayton, Grand Valley and Minto.
Players will be taught the fundamental rules of softball, spending time learning to throw, catch and hit the ball.
Coaches pitch (3-pitches) to the batters in this division. If the batter is unable to hit any of these pitches, they will be given 1 chance to hit off of a stationary tee.
You can expect an average of 1 practice and 1 game a week from the middle of May until the beginning of August. The season concludes with a year end playoff tournament in early August.
