Arthur Minor Ball is always looking for new umpires. Whether you are a lifelong baseball fan, a young baseball or softball player, or a parent looking to help our association run smoother, please consider umpiring for Arthur Minor Ball.
We are committed to supporting the development of our umpires. With approval, you may be eligible for reimbursement of registration costs for applicable courses. We can also supply most of the equipment you need to get started. We have several experienced umpires who are happy to provide guidance and support to anyone just starting out.
Umpiring is a great first job, or if you want to make some extra money with a flexible schedule. Being an umpire is also a great for building character, leadership skills, building life-long friendships, and a great way to stay active.
Previous experience is not a requirement!

UMPIRE CLINICS
Baseball Ontario & Softball Ontario have both recently changed their training programs. Please contact our Umpire Coordinator to indicate your interest, and we will share information as it becomes available.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Before you sign up for any courses or register with Baseball Ontario and/or Softball Ontario, check with our Umpire Coordinator to see if you are eligible for reimbursement. New umpires should also complete our Umpire Registration Form to indicate your interest.
UMPIRE SCHEDULES
Once Arthur Minor Ball has released their schedule, the umpire coordinator will send out a list of upcoming games for you to indicate which ones you are available to help with. Games will be assigned based on a combination of factors including the umpire's qualifications, ability and availability. Your schedule will be emailed to you directly.
