11U baseball is for players born in 2014 and 2015. This team will compete in the WOBA south division.
Typically we travel to neighbouring communities including (but not limited to) Mt Forest, Listowel, Walkerton, and Howick.
This is the youngest age group where players are allowed to pitch. Interested players will be taught how to pitch, and their skill will develop as the season progresses.
The number of pitches a player throws in a game is tracked, and limited to protect against injury. Players are not permitted to pitch and play catcher in the same game.
Bases are placed 65' apart, and the pitching rubber is 44' from the back point of home plate.
The season concludes with a year end playoff tournament August 8th to 10th.
